The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Alumni Association, Inc. (PLMAAI) is a SEC-registered, non-stock, non-profit organization of graduates from various academic units, colleges and batches of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM).
The PLMAAI is dedicated to bringing together the thousands of PLM alumni all over the world in order to form a unified, viable and empowered alumni community. As men and women graduates of PLM bound together in promoting the common good, the PLMAAI strives to be a proactive member of the PLM community and of the country, and play an active role in alumni affairs and in PLM’s development.
The PLMAAI traces its roots in 1981 when a group of first batch graduates formed an association with the objective of promoting and serving the interest of its members and of the PLM. The organization however did not live up to its objectives, became inoperative until its registration was revoked by the SEC in August 2003. On 16th October 2007, the PLMAAI was reorganized by a group of graduates from different batches and colleges and formed a transition Board of Trustees composed of 15 members.

Notable of these joint undertakings were the series of relief operation and medical missions undertaken in October 2009 in the aftermath of Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. The PLM community worked closely together to help mitigate the sufferings of typhoon victims, from Metro Manila to Pangasinan and La Union provinces.
Batch ’68 Development Foundation, Inc. launched the Balik-Eskwela program to help schoolchildren return to schools. On 22nd December 2009, the PLMAAI and alumni community from the USA and Canada led by Ms. Roxaner Hequibal, BSN ‘73, and Dr. Ellen Galvez, Director of PLM CUES, conducted another medical mission to indigent families of Intramuros.
