Strategic Objectives

    1. Strengthen the competencies of key players in business and in government by engaging the students in:
      • Identifying, analyzing and contextualizing theories and current issues related to global awareness, management, organization design, planning and administration, decision-making, corporate culture, teamwork, strategic action, motivation and ethics.
      • Examining critically, whether in the classroom, in research, or lifelong learning, the material and virtual manifestations in business and public service, as they contribute to the advancement of knowledge and refinement of service to society.
    2. Enhance the students’ responsibility to continually develop themselves, improve the performance and those of the people they work with in order to deliver their products and services more efficiently, profitability, and to the highest standards of quality.

The Graduate School of Management has virtually set the standards for leadership both in government management and business administration. The College provides a wide range of avenues for professionals to realize their potentials in management education, training, research, extension service and policy analysis. Starting as a vertical articulation of the College of Business Administration in school year 1973-1974, the College has expanded to offer to the following degree programs, i.e. Master in Business Administration, ladderized Bachelor of Bachelor of Business Management-Master in Business Administration, Master in Business Administration-Top Executive Program, Master in Government Management, Master in Government Management-Executive Special Program, Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor in Public Management.

The Graduate School of Management has established partnership for its off-campus programs with no less than 36 government agencies and at least three private institutions. This means classes are held on site to serve the employees of the respective office/locations.

Master in Government Management

This 42-unit program was designed in response to the representation of the Chairman of Commission on audit (COA) for the development of a corp of effective government administrators. The same was later extended to City Government of Manila scholars and to interested students from other government agencies as a regular program of the University.

Master in Business Administration, Top Executive Program

This program is customized for a special type of clientele who are occupying top and supervisory positions whose capabilities and leadership in the field of business and management need further enhancement to a much higher level.

Bachelor of Business Management, Master in Business Administration

The straight Master in Business Administration Program is intended for professionals who hold a baccalaureate degree in business or management. The combined forty-five (45) units includes the fifteen (15) major courses required for completion of the Bachelor of Business Management-Master in Business Administration (BBM-MBA) program.

Doctor of Business Administration

The 51-unit program was designed to equip the students primarily with a strong economics and research base for high-level decision-making. It is composed of 12 units of core courses, 21 units major courses, 6 units electives, and 12 units dissertation writing.

Master in Government Management-Executive Special Program

The program is especially for men and women in the executive positions in the public service who would like to accelerate their professional growth through a flexible program of study. This program aims to meet the needs of executives in government service. This program is shorter and less structured, and leaves much room for innovation on the part of the student.

Doctor in Public Management

The program enhances employees’ responsibility to continually develop themselves, improve their performance and those of the people they work with in order to deliver their services, profitability, and to the highest standards of quality.

  • Letter of Recommendation from Current Supervisor ( including nature of job, length of service, personality/character)
  • Two (2) colored ID photos (1.5” x 1.5”or 2” x 2”)
  • Entrance Examination (For Masteral Program Only)

Registration Requirements and Procedures

  • Step 1     Accomplish the following forms at the Graduate School of Management
    • Student’s Personal and Preliminary Academic Record Form (SPAR)
    • Preliminary Registration Form (PRF)
  • Step 2    (For New Students Only)
    • Submit the following Admission Requirements at the Office of the University Registrar

(Gusaling Katipunan, Ground Floor)

    • Original Transcript of Records (Copy for Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila)
    • Certified True Copy of Marriage Contract (for female students only)
    • Two (2) colored ID photos (1.5” x 1.5” or 2” x 2”)
    • Step 3    Submit duly accomplished forms (SPAR and PRF) at the Student Information System (SIS) Section (Gusaling Villegas, Ground Floor) for pre-registration and assessment of fees
    • Step 4    Present Enrollment Assessment Stub at the Cash Office for Payment of Tuition and other Fees
    • Step 5    Present the Official Receipt at the SIS Section for the release of Enrollment Assessment Form and issuance of class cards
