PLM bags 100% and top slots in PT board
Unbridled academic excellence is the birthright of PLM. As an enduring testament, CPT comes as a hall-famer, just like the other PLM colleges in their own domains, in producing top performers in the Physical Therapy licensure exam given this July. Locking heads strongly as always with UP-Manila, PLM's "PT Pride" got a 100% passing rate, and bagged the 2nd, 4th & 10th places, led by Mary Grace C. Morales (85.75%), Joma Guerrero C. Galang and Marcial M. Patrocinio Jr. (84.25%).

PLM is usually the strongest contender of the University of the Philippines for the top post, with UST sometimes joining the fray. This year, UP and PLM alternately took exclusively the top 5 posts. UP got 1st, 3rd and 5th with a 97% passing rate. MCU-Caloocan got the 6th place (62% passing rate), while UST got the 7th (97% passing rate). UP again got the 8th slot.

PLM Website to don a new look soon
Watch out for the new style and feel of our official website to showcase this year's version. The PLM website is a living document and, thus, a continuously evolving item. The change and total revamp of the entire website will be gradual, with the home page to take the first noticeable face lift.

PLM: Let's be one in saving lives thru blood
Wanna be a lifesaver-volunteer? You are not alone! With your blood donation, who knows the next life to be saved is that of your own family or friend? Nurture their body as you nurture your soul! The culture of giving is a virtue no end.

Last 20 July, a new beginning in our community extension services was launched at UAC -- with you and your colleges as the prime movers. Drop by your college and ask how to be a hero or heroine of your community by way of blood donation. There are so much we can do and achieve if we are one and we move together.

This is a continuing communal program where colleges and officers were clustered to host the rotating schedule. The success of the hardlaunch hosted by Cluster 1 gears up clusters 2-4 to prepare well for their upcoming schedule.

Welcome to the People's University of Scholars

Sapphire IconWelcome to the Pamantasan -- where the brightest scholars from the financially-strapped spectrum of the society are educated and steeped in golden values to become "pantas" or "men of enlightenment and wisdom."

PLM is a pioneer, a leader, and a model institution of higher learning in the Philippines.

PLM is acknowledged as the premier scholars' university of the capital city of the Philippines whose academic excellence the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) recognizes as "beyond reproach and a class by itself."

President's Corner

Acting President

Admissions

PLMAT The PLMAT is a 3-hour examination consisting of sub-tests on language proficiency, reading comprehension, mathematics, science, and reasoning, written in English and Filipino. Processing usually starts in November, and administered in December and January.

An applicant's score is weighted against a standardized PLMAT score. If the score satisfies the suggested cut-off score, the examinee successfully qualifies for enrollment.

The range of cut-off scores approximates the applicants' expected performance in the University. Examinees who successfully achieve a score that is equal to or better than the standardized cut-off score are expected to exude the capacity to hurdle the rigors of an excellent yet exacting university scholarship at PLM.
