Public Notice - Schedule of Fees

As are institutional policies ought to become a public knowledge, so are the fees approved by the policy-making body of the University which is the Board of Regents.

Generally, undergraduate studies in PLM are on the basis of scholarship where almost all are on full-scholarship (completely free education) and only a few are on a highly-subsidized (minimal paying) scholarship.

Undergraduate scholars are categorized as follows:
Category I: Full (Non-Paying) scholar
Bonafide Manilans who have maintained a Good Standing scholastic status.

Category II
: Full (Minimal-Paying) scholars
A non-paying Manilan who failed to maintain a Good Standing scholastic status (under Probation or lower, like ASA).

Category III: Highly-subsidized (Minimal-Paying) Scholars
Non-Manila honor graduates (valedictorians and salutatorians) shall be under the minimal-paying program while enrolled in PLM.

The Professional students under the professional schools are categorized according to full and half scholarships, and full-paying. The colleges of Medicine and Law fall under the purview of this categories. The incoming freshmen starting SY 2011-2012 of the College of Law, however, have been categorized into two (2) categories only: Manilan and non-Manilan.

All graduate programs, whether in-campus or off-campus, are on full-paying status. Special off-campus classes, including the Bachelor of Public Administration, also fall under the full-paying programs.

Under BOR Res. No. 3382 dated 10 May 2011, new fees were assessed on incoming freshmen only; the upperclassmen enjoyed the old yet stagnant fees approved several years ago and, thus, were not affected by this change. Said resolution also carries a colatilla that said new fees shall be adjusted with an annual 10% increase for 5 years. Updated below is the upcoming set of adjusted fees for SY 2013-2014 for the information of all concerned.
