Mary Jane Ganut Apuada has been teaching science for 15 years. She has been part of the College of Science's Physical Science Department since 2007. She handles the general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and other science-related general education subjects.

She co-authored the college's chemistry modules and manual, as well as studies related to natural medicine such as “A new sesquiterpene from Artemisia vulgaris” and “Terpenoids from Taraxacum officinale”.

She served as Assistant Secretary of Philippine Association of Chemistry Teachers for seven years.
