ElvertBañares is an award-winning Director of Films, TV Ad, Concerts, AVPs, and Cultural ShowsMulti-Disciplinary Artist; Production Designer, Film Producer, and Educator. He has represented the Philippines in international film, art, design festivals, and exhibitions in five continents in more than 30 countries around the world. He is a two-time Gawad URIAN Nominee, Art Association of the Philippines Winner; VIVAExcon Biennale Awardee (the highest award in this Biennale); producer of two GawadUrian nominated films; and three-time Gawad CCP Awardee for Independent Film. 

He has represented the country as Philippine delegate to the Beijing Filipino International Film Festival, The Prague Quadriennial in Czech Republic, The Shanghai Filipino International Film Festival, The Milliennium Festival in Seattle USA, The Asian TV & Film Forum in Qingdao, and twice as Head of the Documentation team of the Philippines in Venice Art Biennale in Italy. His films have been in more than 50 international film festivals. 

Elvert has been a Consultant of the Cinema Program of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Film Academy of the Philippines; NCCA representative to the 1st & 2nd Cinemalaya Board and the Board of the Film Development Foundation of the Philippines.
