Two graduates of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Education landed on the Top 10 of the October 2022 licensure examination for professional teachers for elementary and secondary education.
 
 Chricel Lattao landed on the Top 6 along with six other licensed teachers for the high school level with a score of 93.2%, while Jonah Fe Revelo is among those who ranked 9th in the exam for grade school teaching with a 93% rating.
 
The results of the licensure exam for teachers (LET) had been released Saturday, December 17, 2022.
 
PLM realized a 100% passing rate for the LET for basic education, with the two examinees passing the exam. A total of 54.45% of examinees passed this licensure test, or 49,783 from 91,427 applicants.
 
Lattao is among the 59 PLMayer teachers who hurdled the licensure test for teaching at the high school level, yielding a passing rate of 71.95% for the University. This is well above the national passing rate of 50.94%, for a total of 71,080 out of 139,529 test takers.
 
“On behalf of the PLM community, I extend my sincerest congratulations to our new licensed teachers! May you all continue to nurture the Filipino youth and help shape a better future for our country,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.
 
Details of the oath-taking ceremonies for the successful teachers will be by the Professional Regulation Commission announced at a later date.
