PLM is second best performing school

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) beams with pride as 105 graduates of the College of Medicine hurdled the October 2022 Physician Licensure Examination.

Leading the batch of new PLMayer doctors is Dr. Karla Joyce Badong, who is Top 3 out of 3,826 passers, with a score of 88%.

PLM is also the second best performing medical school nationwide with a passing rate of 97.22%, substantially higher than the average passing rate of 64.41%.

โ€œCongratulations to our newly licensed doctors, especially to our topnotcher Dr. Badong! The University is proud of all of you,โ€ PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.

โ€œYou have soldiered on with your training throughout the pandemic, perhaps the toughest time to be medical frontliners. May you continue to persevere and use your skills to help heal our fellowmen and our nation.โ€

The University consistently posts higher passing rates among graduates in licensure examinations. This is another testament to the quality of education which PLM provides, fortified under distance learning channels.
