The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) announces new executive appointments beginning Academic Year 2022-2023.
Professor Lalaine Isip, currently the University Registrar and Chief of the university’s Gender And Development Unit, has been named as Acting Vice President for Academic Support Units.
Three professors have also been appointed as acting deans of academic units. They are Dr. Phyllis Rio, acting dean of the School of Public Health; Dr. David Paul Ramos for the College of Nursing; and Dr. Aileen Atienza for the College of Science.
Dr. Rio will concurrently serve as the chairperson of the PLM Committee on Health.
“Congratulations to our new acting vice president and acting deans!,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.
“I am confident that you can ably guide your respective units and continue to offer a better learning experience for students and stakeholders,” he added.
The new academic year will see more classes offered onsite as part of PLM’s journey towards normalization two years into the global COVID-19 outbreak.
