The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila will continue to accept undergraduate applications for Academic Year 2020-2021 until June 1, ahead of the conduct of the online PLM Admission Test or PLMAT on June 11.

University President Emmanuel Leyco announced today that applicants who are aspiring to enter PLM for the coming school year must fill up the PLMAT application online via https://web1.plm.edu.ph/crs/admission/admission.php . The requirements are detailed on the web page.

The PLMAT is composed of sub-tests in English, Science, Mathematics, Filipino and Abstract Reasoning. Passing the PLMAT is a requirement for admission to PLM.

Applicants will be given until June 1 to accomplish the online application form. Once submitted, a soft copy of an applicant’s test permit will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the application form. An applicant must print the permit, attach a photo, sign the document, and then scan or take a clear photo of the accomplished examination permit and submit this via e-mail. The deadline for the submission of accomplished test permits will be on June 5.

The online exam also covers applicants who were scheduled to take the PLMAT last March 15 and 22 at the Intramuros campus, but was cancelled due to the declaration of a community quarantine in Metro Manila.

The PLMAT will be administered on Thursday, June 11 through an online platform. Further details regarding the conduct of the examination will be released to PLMAT takers accordingly. Applicants must allot at least two hours on a computer or gadget with internet connection for the examination.

The results of the PLMAT online exam will be announced at a later date. PLMAT passers can expect to take classes in the coming semester through blended learning, which will employ virtual channels to take into account social distancing requirements amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

PLM will open the upcoming school year in August through flexible classes.

As a public university, PLM offers tuition-free education to undergraduate students pursuant to the Republic Act 10931 or “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.”
