The School of Social Work has made changes on the topic of the August 20 PLM School of Social Work webinar.
As DSWD is still finalizing its plans for the cleansing of the 4P beneficiaries and a congressional investigation is going to be conducted, we will schedule another webinar when the DSWD plans are finalized. Thus, the August 20 webinar will focus on the Mandanas ruling.
The webinar on “The Mandanas Ruling: Implications on Service Delivery, Social Workers and Other Social Service Personnel”, will be held on August 20, Saturday, 9:00 -12:00 noon using the Zoom platform.
We have invited three speakers who will talk on the following topics:
- Overview of the Mandanas Ruling - Prof. Perry Tizon, Professor, PLM School of Government
- The Implications of the Mandanas Ruling on DSWD service delivery and personnel - Former DSWD Regional and Bureau Director Wilma Naviamos, RSW
- The Implications of the Mandanas Ruling on LGU service delivery and personnel - ALSWDOPI National President Marybeth Mateo-Ortiz, RSW, Guagua Social Welfare and Development Officer
