Factor in jobs, livelihood in disaster mitigation and response

First responders to any natural or man-made calamities should factor in the impact on jobs and livelihood to improve disaster mitigation and response plans, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila President Emmanuel Leyco said.

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila places 4th among the country’s top medical schools with a 97.58% passing rate in the recent board examination for medical licensing.

PLM honors frontliners in Christmas tree lighting ceremony
The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila lit up its towering Christmas tree on Monday, November 23, 2020, in a virtual ceremony that evening.

President Emmanuel Leyco convened the Online Education Committee (OEC) in a meeting last Wednesday following his announcement of a “recovery week” for the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila from November 16 to 22, in view of the destruction brought by Typhoon Ulysses. Classes will be suspended, he explained, but communication lines will be open to facilitate consultation among the faculty, administration, and the students.
