Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila joins in the Celebration of Blessed Takayama Day with His Eminence Cardinal Thomas Aquinas Manyo Maeda of the Archdiocese of Osaka, Takamatsu, Japan, Papal Envoy for the celebration of Manila Cathedral's 60th Anniversary Celebration and Honorable Manila City Maria Sheilah Honrado "Honey" Lacuna–Pangan, Papal Awardee.
 
 

A group of PLM-CAUP B.S. Architecture students are TOP 2 in the recently concluded nationwide A+D 2.0 Architectural Documentary Festival with their entry titled “ang Kape mula sa Aljibe” in collaboration with the United Architects of the Philippines - Manila Corinthian Chapter.
 
A group of PLM-CAUP B.S. Architecture students are TOP 2 in the recently concluded nationwide A+D 2.0 Architectural Documentary Festival with their entry titled “ang Kape mula sa Aljibe” in collaboration with the United Architects of the Philippines - Manila Corinthian Chapter. The group is composed of:
1. Ian Gabriel Padua – 5th Year
2. Julius Calleja – 3rd Year
3. Zedric Garcia – 5th Year
4. Jhon Stephen Llabore – 3rd year
5. Joy Keshia Ocenar - 4th Year
The competition was a project of the UAP Sentro ng Arkitekturang Filipino with the theme “Legacy of the Past: Modern Architecture in historical context” and this was embodied in the film as stated by Zedric Garcia “We wanted to take a different blend on culture and heritage - something that is mundane but rich in flavor, the story of Filipinos who are just taking a cup of coffee within a structure that witnessed a part of history.”
