The PLM President joined the College of Education in celebrating their Annual Pinning Ceremony for Incoming Practice Teachers held today, January 29, 9:00 a.m. at the San Andres Sports Complex, Malate, Manila. This is to officially acknowledge the practice teachers stepping into the teaching field with their passion and honed skills, aiming to influence and enlighten the future generations.
 
 
This year's pinning ceremony has the theme "Igniting Minds, Inspiring Futures: Nurturing Dreams of Aspiring Teachers for an Empowered Future," reflecting the college's commitment to fostering a transformative educational experience for our country. This symbolic event marks the commencement of the students' teaching journey, a momentous chapter in the their scholastic lives.

Accompanying the student teachers are their parents and guardians, witnessing the remarkable start of their teaching journey. The students are also joined by the distinguished faculty and professors of the college who have made an impact on their journey within the Pamantasan.

A part of the significant program is Atty. Domingo Y. Reyes Jr., PLM University President, sharing principles with the students that they must always uphold as pre-service teachers. He emphasized the importance of trustworthiness, honesty, integrity, and kindness to leave an indelible mark on the lives of their students.

Along with the University President, PLM alumna Ms. Hannah Jean Beato, who graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, shared words of wisdom that she gained throughout her journey as a former student of the university. She reflected not only on her experiences as a pre-service teacher but also on the myriad of lessons gained from immersing herself more in the teaching profession. Furthermore, she shared how the Pamantasan has provided her with countless memories and lessons that she carries with her as a full-fledged teacher.

Overall, the event was a remarkable success, showcasing the proud stance of the future educators grounded and trained at PLM.

The PLM College of Education continually anticipates the full and firm support of the University President, the Board of Regents and other members of the administration to the programs and opportunities the college has for our dear students in the near future.
