The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila beams with pride as graduates of the College of Nursing topped the recently concluded Nursing Licensure Examination.

 

Jhon Paul Francisco placed third in the November 2021 exam, tied with another examinee with a score of 88.20%. Mary Rose Melicor shared the Top 7 spot with six others with a score of 87.20%.

Meanwhile, CN alumna Jessielyn Mae Tan also ranked eighth with a final score of 87%.
 
The University also takes pride in the 100% passing rate of PLM takers. All 13 CN alumni who took the exam passed on their first try.
 
This exceeds the national passing rate of 51.46%, or 6,086 newly licensed nurses out of 11,827 examinees.
 
“Congratulations to our newest licensed nurses! There could not have been a better time for the 13 of you to formally join the frontlines of our country’s healthcare system,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.
 
“As nurses for the people, may you carry out your duties with sincere compassion and care.”
 
PLM has consistently posted a strong performance in licensure examinations in the health sector, a testament to the accessible quality education it seeks to provide to the Filipino youth.
