The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila College of Law bagged three awards in the recently concluded 31st National Convention of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP).

PLM alumnus and award-winning screenwriter and director Roy Iglesias was inducted into the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) during its Gabi ng Parangal on December 27, 2019 at New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
Filipino journalist Manuel Mogato, a 1983 alumnus of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, was awarded the prestigious 2018 Pulitzer prize for International Reporting, together with two other colleagues from international news agency Reuters.
The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila was recognized for the outstanding performance of its College of Law for ranking first for first-time examinees who notched a passing rate of 100% in the 2016 Bar Examinations administered by the Supreme Court in Manila.
